Visceral fat down by 3
3.9kg loss overall, 4.3% body fat down and gained 100g muscle
Biggest win though are non scale - Energy is better, mental health is better, passion for training reignited, better relationship with food and nourishment rather than stress eating etc.
Made me realise I need to take care of myself physically and the rest of my life will also fall into balance
I’m very happy with my results I’ve dropped more weight then I expected and I’m pushing myself harder in workouts my cardio levels have improved and I've finally got double unders !!!
I did this 8wk challenge to teach myself about calorie/macro counting. I've never done this before so I wanted to see how my body would react to this new way of eating. I wanted to see the physical and mental effects it had on my body and performance.
I set a goal to get from 18% body fat down to 12% and put on a kilo or more of muscle. I am very happy to say that I have achieved my goal, however my biggest achievement from this challenge is that I finally know how to calorie count and track my food. Understanding my own nutrition has allowed me to continue this as a lifestyle.
