Block 1: Fundamental Rig Work

Build strict strength, body positions and kip mechanics to go from banded pull-ups to chest-to-bar.

Warm-Up & Body Prep

  • Kip swing mechanics

Strength Progressions

  • Eccentrics — pull-up negatives (rings & rig)
  • Isometrics — pull-up top hold, hollow/arch holds, rig hang
  • Concentrics — chin-up, pull-up, scapula pull-up
  • Activation — serratus raise, scapula banded rows

Drills & Skill Work

  • Box kip swing & jump (double & single leg)

Everything You
Need to Know

Do I need to be an Unbound member?+
No. This workshop is open to everyone — members and non-members. All you need is a willingness to learn.
What level do I need to be?+
Beginner-to-intermediate. You don't need a pull-up or a handstand to attend — that's what we'll be building. If you can hang from a bar and have basic gym experience, you're ready.
Can I do just one block?+
Yes. Choose the Rig Workshop ($70), the Floor Workshop ($70), or get both plus a private lunch with the coaches for $100 — saving $40.
What's in the take-home program?+
A structured 4-week program with weekly progressions, coaching cues for every movement, and video demonstrations you can reference during your own training.
What should I bring?+
Workout clothes, a water bottle, and gymnastics grips if you have them (not required). We provide all equipment.
Is there a break between blocks?+
Yes — 1 hour from 12pm to 1pm. If you've booked both blocks, lunch is on us. You'll eat with the coaching team — a chance to ask questions and get advice you won't get in a group class.
Will there be a follow-up seminar?+
Yes. Seminar #2 covers bar muscle-ups, ring muscle-ups, strict HSPU and handstand walks. Attendees of Seminar #1 will be first to know the date.
Are spots limited?+
Yes. We cap numbers for quality coaching. Once spots are gone, they're gone.
